Grand Palais for Tomorrowland’s Dreamville

Tomorrowland, sought to elevate the attendee experience by offering an upscale accommodation option within Dreamville. Spantech was selected to construct the Montagoe Lobby, designed to serve as the central hub for premium services and amenities, epitomizing luxury and comfort.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to design a structure that not only provided high functionality, but also aligned with the luxurious expectations of Tomorrowland’s premium attendees. The structure had to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly durable, incorporating multiple facilities within a cohesive space.

Solution

Spantech designed the Montagoe Lobby inspired by the grandeur of classic orangeries, utilizing a modern approach to fit the festival’s dynamic atmosphere. Key features included:

• Architectural Elegance: High arches and glass facades created a visually stunning structure that was open and inviting. This design ensured that the lobby blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the festival surroundings while maintaining an atmosphere of exclusivity.
• Integrated Facilities: The lobby was divided into zones including a reception, restaurant, bar, retail shop, and entertainment area. This segmentation allowed for efficient movement and interaction among guests, enhancing their overall experience.
• Luxury Amenities: Facilities were top-tier, featuring comfortable seating, private shower stalls, beauty stations, and a relaxation pool area with hot tubs. These amenities provided guests with a place to unwind and refresh, setting a new standard for festival accommodations.

Execution

Using modular construction techniques, Spantech was able to quickly assemble and disassemble the structure, meeting the tight festival timelines. Materials chosen were not only aesthetically pleasing but also capable of withstanding various weather conditions, ensuring the structure’s durability and guest comfort throughout the event.
