At Brussels Airport, we delivered a 6,000 m² MRO hangar for Sabena Engineering in just four months on site. Designed for both military and civil use, the project combines technical complexity with fast-track execution – making it one of the most ambitious aviation builds we’ve completed to date.
Spantech delivered a fully operational 6,000 m² MRO facility after only four months of construction. The aircraft hangar was built using Spantech’s proprietary modular system, offering speed without compromise on quality or compliance.
The modular design allowed for tighter control over timing, budget, and coordination, even with a highly technical brief.
Sabena Engineering now operates Belgium’s largest military-grade hangar, located at the country’s busiest airport. The facility strengthens Sabena’s position in both military and civil MRO, while creating around 100 new jobs.
