As of June 2025, Spantech has officially been recognised as a Class 8 contractor. A major step forward and a key milestone in our ambition to take on even larger and more complex construction projects.
What is a Class 8 recognition?
This official certification confirms that a contractor is technically competent, financially sound and professionally reliable. It is mandatory for public contracts above a certain threshold and is granted following a thorough review by the federal recognition commission.
Class 8 is the highest level within this system, allowing Spantech to carry out works of unlimited scale.
What does this mean for Spantech and our clients?
We are now eligible to bid on the largest public construction contracts in Belgium. More importantly, it confirms what our clients already know: Spantech is a trusted partner for high-impact projects that demand scale, complexity and quality.
